Recently we launched a new feature to DonorDrive™ Central: Alerts. Now a participant can send automatic Twitter and SMS text message fundraising notifications directly from DonorDrive™!
Twitter
You’ll first need to set up a Twitter account if you don’t already have one, which you can do here. Once you have your Twitter account credentials, log into DonorDrive™ Central and click on “Alerts” button. Next, click the check box next to Twitter and fill in your info.
Click “Save Settings” and you’re done! Now DonorDrive™ will send a tweet from your account when you receive a donation, register for an event, or when someone joins your team.
Text Alerts
To enable text message alerts, click the checkbox next to the “Text Alerts” area.
Enter your phone number, select your carrier, and click “Save Settings”. Now text messages will be sent to your phone whenever you receive a donation or someone joins your team. All carrier fees apply.
To disable any alerts, simply uncheck the checkbox next to the active alerts and click “Save Settings”.
